Dance Classes

Experience Moroccan culture in a different way

Our holidays have different daily itineraries made up of site-seeing and relaxation. These activities are not included in the price of your holiday but are arranged locally and are not expensive. This way, you have the choice to join an excursion or to stay and eat and relax and do your own thing.

Classes are run daily between 11am - 1pm and talks 6pm - 7pm. You'll be guaranteed at least 12 hours of tuition.

Each holiday is a complete experience on its own, but with the dance and drumming classes included, it all adds up to something special. Maybe meeting new friends, getting fitter and learning a new skill.

You can choose different dates, booking as a group of 6 women or more - see Holidays page

What is Arabic Dance?

This beautiful dance is commonly called belly dance but Arabic Dance is an umbrella term for different styles of dances practiced in Arabia and North Africa, as well as the eastern bloc countries.

You can study Egyptian style for its expression and sensuality, or American Tribal style for its groundedness and power.

The dance has grown and developed over the years and the costume styles have developed with it. It has gained popularity world wide, and it is taught regularly throughout Britain. It encapsulates the female form perfectly, and was once traditionally handed down through generations of women in their homes. Anyone can learn this graceful dance: young or old, short or tall, large or small....

The ages of students at our classes in England range between 14 to 82. Yes 82! You are welcome to come alone, with a friend or partner or with a group. Just let me know.

Whatever your reason is for learning to dance or drum, you are welcome to learn with us!
